Silo appearance inspection and maintenance：
-Check the steel plate of the warehouse body: regularly check the steel plate of the silo body for deformation, cracks, rust and corrosion. For slight deformation, local correction can be taken; for serious deformation of the parts, the steel plate should be replaced in time. If the steel plate is found to have cracks, according to the size and severity of the cracks, take measures of welding repair or replacement of steel plate. For the rust problem, rust removal treatment can be carried out first, and then antirust paint can be applied.
-Check the connection parts: carefully check whether the connection parts of the silo body, such as bolt connections, welding parts, etc., are firm, and whether there is any looseness, desoldering and other phenomena. If the bolts are found to be loose, tighten them in time, and re-weld the parts that are not welded.
-Check the roof of the warehouse: check whether there is water on the roof of the warehouse, water leakage phenomenon, the roof of the warehouse vents, manholes and other facilities are intact. If there is water accumulation, clean up in time and find out the cause to repair the leakage point; for the damaged vents, manholes, etc., they should be replaced or repaired in time.
Inlet and outlet equipment maintenance:
-Feeding equipment: regularly clean the debris in the feeding port to prevent blockage. Check the wear and tear of the belt, chain, roller and other parts of the feeding and conveying equipment, and adjust, repair or replace them in time.
-For discharging equipment: check whether there are lumps and blockages in the discharging port, if so, clean it up in time. For the spiral discharger, unloader and other equipment, we should regularly check the operation of its motor, reducer, add lubricant to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Supporting facilities maintenance：
-Ventilation system: check the operation of the ventilator to ensure that it can normally ventilate and regulate the temperature and humidity of the warehouse. Regularly clean the dust and debris in the ventilation pipe to ensure smooth ventilation.
-Temperature measurement system: Check whether the temperature sensor works normally and whether the data transmission is accurate. Regularly calibrate the temperature measurement system to ensure timely and accurate monitoring of the temperature of the materials in the warehouse.
-Material level monitoring system: check the working status of the material level meter to ensure that it can accurately display the material level height of the materials in the warehouse. Regularly clean the probe of the material level meter to prevent the material from adhering to affect the measurement accuracy.
Warehouse cleaning and maintenance:
-Periodic cleaning: according to the characteristics of the stored materials and the use of the situation, regularly clean up the warehouse to prevent the material from caking and piling up. Pay attention to safety and take protective measures when cleaning.
Preventing material residue: After each unloading, try to unload the materials in the warehouse, to avoid long-term residue of materials in the warehouse, deterioration, slate, etc., affecting the next use.
Environmental maintenance:
-Peripheral drainage: Ensure that the drainage around the steel plate silo is smooth, to avoid damage to the silo foundation caused by rainwater accumulation. Regularly clean the surrounding drainage ditches and wells to prevent clogging.
-Site cleanup: keep the site around the steel plate silo neat and clean, free of debris, weeds, etc., to avoid corrosion of the silo body or affect the normal operation of the equipment.
